The feedback I received last time was most were in favor of my effort to change the vape laws, however I realized it wouldn't be realistic to ban vapes all around. This video I changed it to were all states should change the age to buy vapes to 21. Another comment I had last time was that vaping is an alternative to people who are trying to stop so I addressed that in the video. Overall I changed the message of the video in efforts to change the law to 21 this would help teens to not get addicted.
Hello again Carly! I think your have improved since your first elevator pitch, so I applaud you on that progress. In terms of possible things that you could improve to make an even better elevator pitch, I think you could work on looking less like you’re reading and more like you have a deep understanding of the topic. If you can accomplish that, it could male for a quality pitch.
ReplyDeleteHey Carly! Your idea upon the vape industry is completely right, however, I did not catch on to your pitch. I think that a business along of the lines of creating a healthy alternative for vaping would be ideal to fix up the problems you mentioned in your video. There is a business I read about recently in an article where they mention a healthy alternative to vaping through putting vitamins in the e-liquid that simulate the feeling of nicotine, I believe this would be a business that fits your pitch.
ReplyDeleteHey Carly,
ReplyDeleteYou definitely made a big improvement in your pitch by choosing a specific law to try to change. I think you did a good job delivering your message. However, It does seem like more of a regulatory change than a business idea. I agree that the age should be raised at a federal level, but maybe you could come up with an alternative product to vapes.
