The tendency I have developed in this class is to is to make sure I watch the class videos this helps me learn about the assignments coming up and while I watch the videos, I take notes for the cupcake. Another tendency I created in this class is to always double check my URL submission to make sure it’s the correct because in the beginning I didn’t receive credit because I submitted the wrong URL. The last thing is that this class taught me to ask question about things and find opportunities and when I do I write them in my notes.
In the beginning of the semester I didn’t realize that things are due at 12pm therefore missing my first couple of assignments I thought about giving up because I was starting off with zeros in the gradebook. Instead of giving up I pushed myself because I knew I made a mistake and wanted to take accountably for it. I gained a tendency attitude because that helped me get things done in this class.
1.     Ask question. This is the most helpful thing I have learned in this class asking questions opens your mind up to opportunities you might not have seen before. This will help when creating a bug list.
2.     Be passionate. You want to be passionate about your opportunities because if you don’t believe it no one else will. This will help during the elevator pitches.
3.     Be accurate. This class is fun and not like regular classes if you are accurate with when assignments are due the class lectures then you will easily succeed.
Carly, I like your tendencies you've developed for this course. I need to adopt the habit of checking my URL submission as I have made the same mistake with turning the wrong URL and losing points for it. I also really like your idea of taking notes of an opportunity you may come across or think of. BY writing these ideas it ensures that you wont forget about it and will be able to develop it further.
ReplyDeleteHi Carly,
ReplyDeleteI also made a mistake early in the semester because of the noon deadline. I definitely felt like giving up after missing a couple assignments but I found a way to push through. I know have a better routine for completing work because of it. I also agree with your tip about being passionate. It makes this class much easier if you truly believe in the ideas you are writing about.
