While I personally recognize the detrimental effects of flavored vaping, I am sure that those who actually vape are not so worried about these health issues, as they are more concerned with their image and how vaping makes them feel. You hit some good points, but the delivery of your ideas needs some improvement. Your argument wasn’t particularly persuasive, so, I encourage you to revise your approach.
Hey Carly! I think your pitch is a good way to inform people that wouldn't bother reading articles that detail how vaping hurts people's health and has lots of compelling statistics. However, I'm sure a lot of people already know the statistics and choose not to care regardless, so I would encourage you to pitch some sort of solution early on. This is a great start to perfecting the elevator pitch though, good job!
Hi Carly, You do a good job of explaining why e-cigarettes are potentially detrimental to people's health. I agree that they need to be regulated and tested more thoroughly however vapes may still be a beneficial to those trying to quit cigarettes. I think it would add a lot of value if you offered a more specific solution, such as raising the age to purchase them or requiring a prescription from a doctor.
